Ray Collins

Ray Collins’ expertise as a vocal presentation and dialect coach is sought after by entrepreneurs, business professionals, and theatre companies throughout the Triad. He has coached numerous startups while working with the Center for Creative Economy, Launch Greensboro, Forsyth Tech, and UNC Wilmington. TrueVoice is based in Winston-Salem, NC.

Ray has worked in the professional theatre in London, New York and regional theatres throughout England and the United States. He has taught voice and speech professionally in New York City at the American Academy of Dramatic Art, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Additionally, Ray taught vocal presentation at the State University of New York at Purchase. In North Carolina, his teaching credentials include Wake Forest University, Elon University, Catawba College and NC A&T. Ray is active as an actor working in film, theatre, commercials, and voiceovers.

Ray earned degrees from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and has an MFA in Directing from the City University of New York.
